As a Practice Leader for Audit & Assurance services at K C Mehta & Co LLP, my day includes a gamut of activities ranging from discussion on varied industry topics, updates in the auditing world, impact of world events on businesses of my clients, tête-à-tête with my team. So I’d like to think that I have a fair idea of where the global professionals and my Indian co-professionals stand.
I believe that our profession, especially from India, is more of an underachiever vis-à-vis our capabilities at the world stage. I’d like to tap that potential of our fellow professionals and for that, I had sought support from all my fellow members.
I am incredibly grateful for all the support that I’ve witnessed during the period leading to Central Council Elections in December 2021. A big Thank You to All – from the smallest of towns to the biggest of cities, from friends in the profession to those in the industry, from India and abroad. I am truly humbled with the confidence shown in me and I look forward to serving the profession with your valued support and guidance.
Sharing is Learning
One of the greatest pleasures of working in our esteemed profession is the focus on learning, starting right from the Institute by way of CPE, to the ground-level by way of sharing & learning amongst members. My contributions during my tenure with WIRC (including my term as Vice-Chairman, WIRC), presentations at various conferences as well as some professional tools developed by my team are shared here for use by fellow members.
