new scheme of education & training
On the 75th anniversary of the inception of ICAI in 2023, the New Scheme of Education & Training was launched. The aim is to provide an experiential learning with self-paced online modules.
The focus of the new scheme shall be to educate on strategic decision-making for providing effective business solutions with emphasis on emerging technologies. The scheme aims at a 30% case-scenario based MCQ assessment at Intermediate and Final Levels.

Keeping up with increasing digitisation and need for online material, the Board of Studies (Academic) has come up with many effective measures.

- Availability of e-books on Digital Learning Hub
- Paper Practice Portal for MCQ
- Mobile application of Board of Studies
- Webcasts, self-paced sessions and other online learning material


National Education summit on Commerce & Accountancy (NES-CA)
Under this initiative, the Board of Studies partnered with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and has released the study material aptly titled “आरम्भ” (Aarambh) which is aimed at educating the youth on financial independence. The book aims to foster financial resilience and enhance decision making ability of students, thereby enabling them to counter financial challenges across various life stages with confidence. The new study material for all 3 levels of Chartered Accountancy course are available on ICAI’s website. Please follow the link using any of the images.
The ICAI has also launched a series on “Saransh” which are concise handbooks for quick reading.






MOU with universities & colleges
With a view to promote uniform Accountancy and Commerce education across educational institutions in India, the ICAI has also entered into MOUs with various Universities & Colleges across India. During my term as BoS Chair / Vice Chair, a total of 56 MOUs have been entered into by ICAI.
